I don't know where else to put this...Anyway, this is where I can give you tips to help improve your literacy. I'm not the best teacher, so anything too complicated may be out of my reach, but at least I can get you on the right track.
To help a bit, I'm going to explain the parts of my intros. You do not have to use the same format, but it may help, then you can tweak it however you want.
-----------------------------------
Part 1
Quantity: about 1 paragraph.
This is usually describing what your character is doing. Is it just flying in with a meal? Is it hunting? Is it just waking up? Make sure to describe this part in detail, such as if it's hunting, make sure to describe it stalking the prey, zeroing-in on it, then lunging at it or swooping in on it.
Part 2
Quantity: 1-2 paragraphs
This is where you describe your character in detail. Make sure that you describe the color of your character, and the markings. If any, make sure to describe the color of your character's wings or manes if the colors differ from the main body. Does you character have claws or horns? If so, describe them and how dangerous and how skilled your character is with them. Does your character have a certain condition or disability, such as being blind in one eye, or both. Maybe your character is deaf or a mute. You must make sure to note that.
Also, you can describe what other's general reaction to your character is. Do other's think that your character is scary, pathetic, very sweet, or no one never thinks of them? This is not the reaction of other characters that are in the roleplay, just a general idea.
Part 3 (optional)
Quantity: Varies
Usually, this part is typed in italics. This is like your character's flashback to a certain time in the past. It helps decribe why a character has a certain condition or acts a way. It can also decribe the origin of your character's powers or such. This does not have to be in the intro. You can also put it in another post, which I usually do. But I suggest that you have one to make your character more interesting.
Part 4
Quantity: 1+ paragraphs
This is after the flash back or description. This is when your character continues to react to their enviornment or whatnot. They could be intereacting with another character that they found, or calling, or just surveiling the area.
-------------------------------------
Anyway, I'd like to see an example of your roleplaying skills so I can help you.
