Of all the creatures in this world of demons and angels, dragons and monsters, few can say that they are ultimate in nature. This beast before you is one of them.
With a gleaming coat of deepest black - a void of darkness in the night, and eyes the color of the blood of many victims, she is the demon of fear.
Her wings of crimson put the finest rubies to shame, her black tiger like claws the color of shining obsidian. Her blood red tail with the deadly diamond - which opens to reveal three deadly daggers mounted like scissors.
In one word, she is the all encompasing definition of death.
This creatures sabres of brightest white, that sink so easily through skin and scales alike, are the terror of Acadia.
The Demon, slender with muscle and power, sailed silently over the land that was now hers to control. The dragon ancestry within her gave rise to a beast borne of angel, demon, wulf, and dragon. Her crimson, batlike wings glinted in the light of the full moon. She flew at full speed toward the base of a mighty plateau that was more like a mountain with a flat top.
She came to a halt at its base, blood dripping from her sabres, claws, and tipped tail. With a fluid motion, her mighty wings retracted and she leapt into the air, her slender, mighty form soaring over the rocks. Her mighty obsidian colored claws dug into the boulders as if they were mere logs as she scaled the side of the mountain. No hard breath was heard, no panting nor lolling of tongue. She could not be exhausted, nor destroyed.
Within minutes she had the entire rocky face behind her, and the flat surface of the plateau before her. Her mighty head swiveled to the sky, staring at the full face of the bright moon. The next instant she looked out over the dark terra, her blood red eyes gleaming with might and power, and the desire for pleasure and rule. She looked down at the surface of the stone on which she perched, and grinned in her own power. She moved her massive paws apart and dug her claws into the stone.
With a mighty spread of her wings and force through her legs she parted the stone. Great groaning and cracking could be heard for miles as the solid rock of the mountain cracked and yeilded to her. And thus she stood, a massive crevass below her. The beast took a deep breath, and howled with such force that the trees trembled in fear and awe, the rocks shuddered in amazement, and any creature would have frozen in their tracks and become entranced with her beauty and power.
As the howl was silenced, a new and even more powerful sound eminated from her before the echo of her howl could disappear. She roared with such ferocity that it all happened again, and it seemed as if the very moon itself shuddered. The roar attested to the draconic spirit within her, as did the mighty stream of flames that was emited from her massive jaws.
At the end of this mighty display, she waited, watching, listening, smelling. She was now the mistress of a mighty land, an untamed land with much to learn.
Many fear this creature of night, and cower at her presence, and flee at the sound and scent of her. Some know her only as Demon. But those who truly know her, know her like those she has murdered or led, she is known by one name. Nyre
It is done then, Nyre thought. The land is mine, and all its inhabitants will answer to me. A grin filled her maw, and her gums showed where her mighty sabres took root. She shook her shining coat and took to the sky, soaring over her land. She knew that the demons, the darks of Acadia would answer her call, and she would retrieve them.
Nyre landed in a clearing where there were many stones arranged in a circle. This was where she would wait. She looked to her left, and there was one larger stone, with a smooth surface. Nyre alighted upon this stone of alphas, sitting uppon the center of the rock. She gazed at the space around her - the space that should have been filled by both her and a mate. But she had none - no mate, no pups, no pleasure of the sensual. A small snarl escaped her as she curled her lips in anger. She quickly threw the thought aside and focused on the matters at hand.
Nyre, the mistress of the Darks, looked straight out and forward. Head high, shoulders square, paws firmly rooted in their posts. She would wait - a beauty beyond compare, an evil beyond comprehension. She was the ultimate in everything - power, grace, strength, wit, beauty, finesse, leadership, and fear. The sight of her on the horizon struck fear into the heart of the bravest warrior, yet sent through his heart a sick longing and insatiable hunger. Her roar meant triumph, destruction, fear, glory - were at hand.
Nyre lifted her maw to the sky, her shining ivories gleaming brightly in the light of the moon. Her beautiful lips formed a perfect circle as her breast heaved, pulling in the air around her. She exhaled emitting a gorgeous song, beconing, loud, clear. Her breast collapsed as her lungs forced out the sound. She lowered her maw, and watched the tree line before her. She sat tall, the peak she had climbed ominous and tall behind her, the moon showing through the crack she had made. She was a beast of darkness, blood, and beauty. The bane of the lights, and the desire of every brute.
Her peircing gaze penetrated the darkness and mist as she waited for the first to answer her call. She knew they would come, and she would wait.

((I changed my Demon wulf's color to black. Seems more ...demonish...))
The ground vibrated and trembled, she could feel it. A pair of black paws carried the the strong and sleek body that raced through the forest. I long tail flickered continuously as the figure sprinted on. The long song that had traveled through all the land vibrated through the trees. This creature, as seen as a blur slowed it's pace and revealed it's face as it was truly to be seen. The smooth and silky pelt glimmered in the soft glow of the moonlight. The coat, the fur of this wulf, blacker, darker and deeper then night. Two ghastly eyes adverted their gaze everywhere, always ready to pounce at anything that twitched abruptly.
The glassy eyes, the clear and ghastly ones, glowed an emerald green. This character was known to no one. If anyone just glanced at it, they would shiver, and scamper away, hiding. She folded her wings and glared at the trees, hearing faint whispering entering her ears. She slowed her trot, and started to walk, with pride and pure confidence. This wulf folded her dark wings and rested them upon her back as she walked on, not creating any sound. A small grunt slipped from the maw as this wulf traveled between the trees.
Though not many knew her, or even knew her name, her dubbance, her parents, as she recalled so many years ago, titled her as Avali. So she knew that was her name, her title. Though she didn't think anyone would call to her, or reach out to her. So she stayed silent lurking slowly, spying on the creatures that roamed the land. She narrowed her eyes, and gave a threatening glare and everything. She casted her orbs upon the terra, sniffing with her inky-black nose. Avali had a sharp tongue to the people she didn't know, and avoided different characters that crossed her path. She didn't have any business with them, and she shouldn't waste her time talking.
A small, selfish scoff escaped Avalis lips as she shook her head. She traveled for a long amount of time through the land, always coming back to where memories whispered and echoed back to her, recalling Avali of what terrible and frightening things happened. No one would understand what terrible things lie in life. Avali said in her mind to herself. She knew no one that had such frightening memories as her. Avali's eyes and presence turned more ominous as she remembered what had happened in the past. Some memories you want to leave behind, and destroy, and some memories you want to keep. Avali's memories lingered in her mind, and she definitely wanted them to leave her, but of course, her memories refused and they stayed, haunting her.
Avali jerked her head to where the strong and powerful song appeared from, and she was drawn to it. She stayed. She thought of it as another wulf howl, another powerful song, as she had heard before. Her strong legs and fairly large paws shot her through, as her wings raised and stretched far. Avali beckoned them back down, resting upon her shoulders and she suddenly, and unexpectedly saw a large rock and Avali came to a halt. Avali lifted her gracefully molded head and pawed the ground with her strong yet sleek legs and looked up, revealing her clear yet ghastly eyes. A emerald glow seeped through her eyes, and glowed by themselves. Emptiness, yet beauty filled her orbs, glowing up at the new wulf she had encountered.
Avali stood tall, her body, strength and mind full with pride and confidence, yet she didn't look stiff and sturdy, but graceful and strong. Her wings twitched, and her tail swayed behind her back feet. She stared at the Fae wolf, powerful yet beautiful. Avali breathed silently, and knew from the blood-red eyes, that this was the certain wulf that cried out the sturdy song that spread through the land. Avali was silent for a moment, wondering what to think, for this character, looming before on a fairly large rock, seemed to beam with power.
Avali did not budge for the first moment, but she then dipped her head to the figure above.. She turned her head back at the trees, and longed to go back there, she had no need to this wulf, and she intended to leave. "Were you the one to sing that song?" Avavli decided to ask suddenly with her misty and ghastly tone. Avali decided not to scamper away from this figure, and she felt it wouldn't let her. The full moon casted its gentle glow on the land, and made Avali's coat glint gorgeously in the moonlight.
The silence tightened around Avali, and she glared at the figure in a curious way, watching her every move, wondering thoughtfully when the wulf would decide to reply, to actually speak to the Avali that seemed to shrink in her power, as if she were no use. Avali inhaled deeply, and exhaled as she balanced her tail and spread her wings slowly. Soon after she folded them up again, and stood as a statue in this wulf's presence. Avali straightened her figure, and revealed the wulf what she was, and she hoped in her mind that this mighty wolf wouldn't think of her as a peasant. Avali raised her beautiful head and swished her tail a few times before looking up at the wulf.
Then, she didn't raise her head to look at her, but adverted her clear eyes to this wulf and she said, breaking the silence, "I'm terribly sorry of crossing your terra, it seems..." Avali closed her eyelids, and perked them open again, in a graceful action. Thus, she waited under the powerful yet beautiful wulf that loomed with power over her.

Nyre had noticed the scent of the approaching fae, the wind bringing it softly to her awating nose. Nyre sat tall, with her forepaws side by side before her, her ears laid back slightly, and her eyes gently closed. She held back a grin at the aura of strength and independence surrounding the new fae. As the fae addressed Nyre, her ear slowly pivoted to collect the sound of her voice. Nyre believed that a lot was contained within a voice.
Her eyes still closed, Nyre listened, starkly still other than the ear she had shifted. Her breath came slowly and deeply as she waited for the right moment to respond. Nyre was indeed a great creature of fear and power, but also of wisdom and opportunity. She could sense the fae's reluctancy, and at the fae's last statement Nyre found her opportunity. In less than half a second, Nyre's face whipped from its straight forward gaze to look directly at Avali, and her eyes flashed open. They glowed feircely in the night, the vertical, deep sapphire pupils showing against the sea of red.
A grin slowly crept onto Nyre's face. A welcoming grin, not showing her gums, but only the tips of her fangs. "Indeed it was I" Nyre answered, her voice resonating, masculine, and yet beautiful at the same time. "And you are welcome here wulf." She nodded her head in welcome. Nyre lifted her tail, tipped with the deadly trident-like diamond weapon, and pointed it to a rounded rock to Nyre's right. "I am Nyre, Dracowulf." Her voice carried a note of pride, a hint of warning, and a resonating tone. "What be your dubbance?"

The show of the clear, sapphire eyes, glowing ferociously were revealed to Avali as she stood, listening intently to Nyre's reply. Avali paused a moment before replying, and she softly and faintly spoke the name of the powerful fae. "Nyre..." Avali sated through words, as her mouth slit ajar to say the letters. Avali looked back up at Nyre, with her emerald, glowing eyes shining like stars, glinting and twinkling. They stood out from her appearance. Her eyes, seemed to glow with the powerful moon, as she adjusted her wings on her shoulders, straightening out more. As she knew she was welcome, into the fae's pack, she let out a sigh of relief.
Indeed Nyre was powerful, but she showed wisdom as one of the many things she was gifted with. Avali could see that in her as she looked at her. Avali twitched her ear, shifted her weight with the small earing upon her ear twinkling in the soft yet powerful glow of the moonlight. She spread her wings backwards, stretching them from the long nights, and slowly slowed them down to her back again. For they were also jeweled with emeralds, as her earring. Her tail stretched far, for it was shaped in a strange shape, for it was also a "bait" for spirits, wandering the terra be beckoned to, and destroyed. Yet another jewel was crested gracefully upon her forehead, just between her eyes. It glimmered with Avali's heartbeat as she stared at Nyre's every move and listened intently at every syllable.
Avali inhaled slowly before answering Nyre's question. She raised her head high to look at Nyre and spoke in her ghastly yet smooth tone. "My dubbance is Avali," she said clearly with pride, "For that is my title." She was drawn to this fae of fear and darkness, and awaited for others to be drawn as she was.

"Welcome, Avali" Nyre said. She returned to that statuelike position. Nyre's glowing crimson eyes caught sight of the wind in the pines, the feild mice disturbing the blades of emerald grass, and the grey clouds moving swiftly across the black expanse of sky. Her ears pivoted every now and then, scooping in the heartbeats of bird, mouse, deer, moose, wulf, and even some of the low, resonating tones of the dragons that lived not so far away. Her nose quivered, smelling the fear that some animals had - the fear that dripped from them as they were chased by a predetor, or unwittingly found themselves in the territory of an enemy. Nyre moved toward the right side of the broad rock on which she stood, and laid her obsidian claws over the edge. She pressed them in, leaving eight perfect claw marks in the stone. Eventually, she hoped, there would be another set of eight on the opposite side. She turned her body slightly, and curled her tail towards her face. She watched as the muscles in her tail forced the three parts of the diamond open. Nyre took a deep breath and smoke began to gently curl from her nostrils. A few moments later, a thin stream of flame emited from her maw, directed at the crimson weapon. It soon glowed red hot, and she shifted her tail, pressing the open trident into the rock just below her claw marks. Her tail soon cooled, and returned to its normal shimmering crimson. Nyre stretched her spine, her wings open as wide as their span could reach. All together, her wings were a span just greater than her length. She stood five feet tall at the shoulder and fifteen feet long including her tail. Her wing span covered a width of twenty feet when fully extended. It was true that she was an impressive beast to most, but she never aimed for that effect. Nyre laid down upon the rock and thought deeply. Mostly about what would happen once there were more wulves under her watchful eye. She liked Avali - the way she carried herself and the attitude she had. Nyre smiled softly as she thought - Avali, my first member...((I am giving Avali the rank of Beta female. )

A slight tremble could be felt from under scaly, black paws. A groaning, shifting sound reached two triangular ears. Eyes turned to the source, one that would intimidate anyone, the other, ghastly and clouded, as the owner's past was. Only one eye was able to see the sight before him, another dracowulf that now had a large crevasse under her. It was either warning or marking it's territory, either way he didn't care, turning away from the odd plateau.
The brute was dubbed Talhiss, for he named himself. He was, what looked like a wolf in a dragons skin, for he was covered in jet black scales, Demonic wings protruded from his back, both had violet webbing between the thin fingers of the black frame. From his elbows and ankles burned an everlasting fire, but from it, there was no light, but more darkness. Hung from his neck was a chain made of the crystal, amethyst. Hung from the chain was a turquoise pendant that was in the shape of a crucifix, and at the base of it looked like a heart shaped in chains.
Talhiss strode only a few feet away when such a powerful howl was heard. He almost tumbled to the ground when he was caught unaware. He then swiftly turned his head back to the dracowulf upon the plateau that now sang the song, a song of invitation. So that last time she was just trying to get attention, or just show off her power...Talhiss sneered, and yet again, turned away from the dracowulf, listening to the trees as the rustled when the howl stopped.
It wasn't one more step until the dracowulf roared, this time causing him to tumble to the ground. He looked at the dracowulf, flames escaping from her lips. His lips formed a frown. She must be desperate! Talhiss thought as he scrambled back to his feet. Though most would see a powerful leader in her, he only saw an irritating pest. Though annoying, she was successful in capturing his attention, and he slowly seemed to melt in the shadows.
Now he couldn't be hears, smelled, or sought. He was one with the darkness that surrounded the area. He swam from shadow, making much faster progress than he would on land. He finally reached the side of the plateau away from the moon's glare. He was spread upon the side, then concentrated himself to one point in the shadow and erupted from it, landing on the cracked empty plateau. Great...she draws you to one place, then flies off somewhere to leave you without much of a knowing of where she is. This must be her first time doing this. Talhiss complained in his head.
His attention was adverted to a circle of eight rocks, her being on one with another wulf. He sighed, then leapt into the crevasse that the dracowulf made, making him one with the shadows again. He crept across the grassy forest floor, and in no time, he was wrapped around the stone near the one that she was on, waiting and studying her. indeed, she seemed strong, but not as wise as he thought one of her kind would be, just leaving the place that drew the attention of many. Indeed, annoyance and frustration for her burned withing him.
The shadow of the dracowulf was shone upon the other rock that he was on. Talhiss the form of it, turning the shadow's head slightly, then he crept down from it and to the rock that a wulf was upon, studying her. To him, she seemed a bit more bearable. He surveiled the area from the shadows, there were no more wulves, in which he was not surprised.
He did not think that he deserved to be in such a pack, and he wanted to make sure that at least someone knew of that. He swam to the shadow that was cast by the stone that the dracowulf was upon, then erupted from it. His body became solid yet again, and his wings thrusted himself in the air. He flew right in front of the dracowulf, then to the plateau again. The plateau was now deserted, and he perched on the peak above it, looking like a hawk or a dragon.

((Ok, I'll go fill that in on my character sheet once I finish this reply...^^))
Avali's eyes glimmered with her emerald glare, as her eyes met Nyre's. Her jeweled wings remained still as the moonlight distributed all it's powerful light. Her crested emerald glinted gorgeously in the moonlight. Her long tail swished uncomfortably back at the dark forest, as she heard utter whisper, scattered in the deep, dark land, yet they continued whispering, and Avali heard intense heartbeats in the forest, and she abruptly lifted her head to the sky, and listened. The heartbeats came to a sudden stop. A killing...? Avali whispered in her mind. She slowly craned her head to stare behind her, and all she heard was darkness. She had a disturbed look on her face, or perhaps annoyance, because whatever had been killed, was killed, and Avali could just guess what what scampering through the forest, attracted to her tail.
She slowly coiled her tail around her, as it rested upon her front paws, and she said to Nyre, "Thank you for welcoming me so." All she heard behind her were faint raspy cries, and they soon faded off. Avali sighed to herself, sitting straight yet gracefully. Soon, before she could speak something else a figure burst through the shadows. Deep black slaces ran on his body, for he was covered through them. She couldn't yet see his face, for he was practically in front of her. Avali glanced up at Nyre, to see what her expression would show upon her face. None yet, and her eyes met her gleaming, sapphire pupils glimmering in the pool of red as her eye.
She awaited for Nyre to open her mouth to speak, for she wouldn't be the first to say something to this wulf.

Nyre opened her eyes slowly as the scaled wulf appeared before her. She moved not, simply stared into the black feild that was the creature's form. She moved her head slowly as she followed his flight path returning to the plateau. A small smile crept across her face. She could feel the frustration that the creature had for her. She held back a churring laugh and simply stood upon the rock, watching. She looked to Avali and gave her a look that told her to wait here, at least for the time being.
Nyre leapt into the air, and vanished. She was mist, air, nothing. Completely invisible to all. She soared toward the peak, pumping her wings gracefully. She alighted upon one edge of the massive crack and looked down. She reappeared, releasing the facade. "Baffling, aren't they" she asked the creature, "The traditions of old?" She said as she looked at the walls of the crack. Nyre sat down quitely, the trident of her tail hanging over the edge of the crack. She remained silent, awaiting nothing, simply being silent. She was often a wulf of few words. Nyre looked out over the land that was now hers through the crimson pools floating in the black void that was her face.
"I leave the choice to you" Nyre said without looking at the creature. She rose with a fluid motion and glided towards earth. Her ebony forepaws clenched to her breast, tail waving as she flew, she landed softly upon the rock.

Avali stayed still as a statue, the cool, chilling air filtering through her dancing, black, glossy fur. The day had slept, and the night had awaken. Avali stood, the scaled wulf before, her, facing Nyre. Avali nodded barely at Nyre's stare to wait. And she did.
The scaley wulf amazed Avali, she hadn't seen a wulf as so shown before her eyes. Avali too could reach, and feel that anger that that seemed to swirl in this wulf. She nodded to herself, and waited. For she waited for what the wulf would speak, especially Avali was curious what he would say to Nyre.
((Short, indeed.))

With a snort, Nyre shook her ebony pelt, her lips curling as her head was tossed this way and that. Her black nose rose to the wind as it brushed by, carrying the scent of game. Nyre shifted her wings as she brought her eyes toward Avali. With a coy grin she said, "Hungry?" With a flick of her tail Nyre dismounted the stone and began walking to the south, across the great meadow. Her tail swayed back and forth like a weightless snake behind her as she leisurely padded across the grassy plain. The moon had begun to set, the sky becoming a strange and eerie blue. It was not yet dawn, but the effects of the sun could already be seen.
As Nyre entered the forest, the leaves of pine and aspen rustled with the wind. Again Nyre raised her nose to the sky, again retreving the signs of deer and moose. She licked her jaw in anticipation, and glanced behind her with a nod, beckoning both Avali and the new creature to follow.
